Whenever I'm walking along and I encounter a set of double doors, I always thrust both of them open and stalk through, like some menacing villain from a movie. And if anybody is on the other side of the doors, I sometimes throw a scowl their way. That's how I roll. Anyway, this walking through both of the doors makes me feel kinda cool. What is less cool is when I pull open two doors and promptly walk into the bar in between them. Luckily, my scowl prevented anybody from mocking me.

You make me laugh out loud, you silly goof! Did you ask at your Career Center about internships? They really plugged that at UMR.
There is definitely a contrast between the adventures in your life and Abbie's!
Hallmark and Appleebee's are other international companies located in KC and I know they both offer tons of internships every year. You may want to check them out.
State Street also has internships...if you want to email me your resume I can forward it on for you. :)
p.s. that door diagram is great! have you considered changing majors to diagram designing?
